Your files are never uploaded

The SVG-to-PNG conversion on svg2png.net runs entirely inside your web browser. When you choose or drop an SVG file, it is read locally using JavaScript's File API, rendered and recolored in the page, and rasterized to a PNG using the Canvas API — all on your own device. At no point is the file you're converting sent to our server or any third party. We have no record of the files you convert because we never receive them.

What we do collect

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, which pages are visited and which country or browser visitors use. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address and general device/browser information. This data is used in aggregate and is not linked to the files you convert, since we don't receive those files at all. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using a browser extension such as Google's official opt-out add-on, or by using browser settings/extensions that block third-party analytics scripts.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first- and third-party cookies to distinguish visitors. We do not use cookies for any other purpose, and we do not use cookies to store or track the content of files you convert.

This site may link to third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites you may visit from a link on svg2png.net.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
